The Single Use Carrier Bags Charges (England) Order 2015 has been recently updated and is due to be implemented in October this year.

There are a number of excluded bags, as follows:

- Unwrapped loose seeds bag
- Unwrapped blades bag
- Prescription-only medicine bag
- Uncooked meat food bag
- Live aquatic creatures bag
- Returnable multiple reuse bag
